About Keratoconus Treatment
Keratoconus makes the cornea thin and bulge into a cone, blurring and distorting vision, usually from the late teens onwards. Treatment has two goals: stopping progression with corneal cross-linking, and improving vision with specialty lenses, corneal rings, an implantable lens or, in advanced cases, a transplant. In Turkey, cross-linking typically costs €1,000–€2,200 per eye and most patients stay 5–7 days.
