Where clinic listings come from

Most listings are compiled from public business information (Google Maps and OpenStreetMap): name, address, business category, photos and the Google rating.
We list clinics so patients can compare options in one place. A listing is not an endorsement or a recommendation.
Clinics can claim their profile to add prices, doctors, accreditations and their own description. Until then, these details are not shown.

A Verified badge appears only after WhichClinic has checked documents supplied by the clinic, such as its Ministry of Health operating licence and its health-tourism authorisation.
There are three levels — "Verified", "Verified Plus" and "Elite Partner" — and a badge is removed when the underlying documents expire.
Listings without a badge have not been checked by us. Always confirm credentials yourself before paying.

On treatment and treatment-in-city pages, clinics are ordered by:

Verification level ("Elite Partner", "Verified Plus", "Verified", then unverified listings).
Relevance: whether the clinic's name clearly refers to the treatment (for example "implant" for dental implants).
A Bayesian-weighted Google rating: (20 × 4.5 + rating × number of ratings) ÷ (20 + number of ratings). This stops a 5.0 from three ratings outranking a 4.8 from 900 ratings.
Number of ratings, then name.

No clinic can pay to move up these lists. Badges are awarded only after the document checks described above.
If paid placement is ever offered, it will be labelled as advertising and kept separate from these lists, as our Terms of Use require. No clinic can pay to change its Google rating or its reviews.
In the searchable clinic directory you can choose the sort order yourself.

Stars on listings are Google ratings: third-party data that we display and refresh periodically but do not verify.
WhichClinic reviews are separate from Google ratings and can only be written by signed-in users with a verified email address.

Treatment guides are prepared by the WhichClinic editorial team from published medical sources, which are listed at the end of each guide. Each guide shows the date of its last update.
Price ranges are indicative package prices compiled from prices published in Turkey for the stated year. They are not quotes: your price depends on your case, the surgeon and what the package includes.
The guides are educational and do not replace a consultation with a qualified doctor.

A clinic appears under a treatment when its business category or its own profile says it provides that type of care (for example, dental clinics under dental treatments).
Categories are broad, so confirm that the clinic performs your exact procedure when you request a quote.

When you request quotes, you choose how many clinics receive your request, and your details go only to those clinics.
WhichClinic is free for patients and does not take a commission on treatment.

If a listing is wrong, or you own the clinic, contact us or claim the listing — we correct errors promptly.
