About Smart Lens Surgery
Smart Lens — also called refractive lens exchange (RLE) with a trifocal intraocular lens — is often the procedure Turkish clinics recommend for people over 45 whose eyes are no longer ideal for laser. Instead of reshaping the cornea, it replaces the eye's own ageing lens with an artificial one designed to give near, intermediate and distance focus. It can be genuinely life-changing, but it is intraocular surgery, so the decision deserves careful, honest thought.
