Before you go — preparation

Non-surgical aesthetics

  • Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements for a couple of days before to reduce bruising
  • Come to your appointment with clean skin and no heavy makeup
  • Tell your practitioner about any allergies, medicines or past treatments
  • Skip aspirin, fish oil and vitamin E beforehand only if your clinician agrees
  • Don't book fillers or botox right before a big event; leave room for swelling
  • Arrive well hydrated and having eaten something light

A day-by-day timeline for your procedure, from the first night to full recovery.

Clear do's and don'ts for every stage, so you know what helps and what to avoid.

Written to sit alongside your clinic's instructions — never to replace them.
