# WhichClinic > WhichClinic is an independent comparison platform for people considering > medical treatment abroad, with a focus on Turkey. It lists clinics, hospitals > and doctors, shows what is actually known about each of them, and lets > patients request quotes without going through a call centre. Editorial > guides explain how to compare and verify a provider before travelling. Canonical site: https://whichclinic.net/ — English pages are unprefixed; other languages live under a locale prefix (see "Languages" below). ## How listings and verification work - **Directory listings.** Provider profiles are compiled from publicly available business information (name, address, contact details, category) and are shown whether or not the provider has ever interacted with us. An unclaimed listing is not an endorsement. - **Google ratings.** Where a rating and review count are shown as Google data, they come from Google and are labelled as such. They are third-party signals, not WhichClinic reviews. - **Verification is a separate, earned status.** Our verification programme checks operating licences, Turkish Ministry of Health authorisation ("yetki belgesi"), accreditations (JCI, ISO where relevant), doctor diplomas, and confirms the facility exists. The criteria and levels are published at https://whichclinic.net/trust — a provider carries a verification badge only after those checks are completed, so most listings do not carry one. - **Patient reviews.** Reviews published by WhichClinic are confirmed with the patient before they count toward a provider. Incentivised reviews do not count. - **Ranking.** Placement is not sold. Ordering is driven by verification status, profile completeness and rating signals, and the sort a patient chooses. - **Quotes.** A patient picks how many clinics may receive their request (up to 15). Matching is by treatment and destination.
